DISH CUSTOMERS
If you are a Dish user, please read this carefully before calling us.

DirectTV does not carry any of our stations. Why not? Call them and ask them. No, we don't give waivers. Period.

DishNetwork carries all four of our stations, (ABC, CBS, Fox, CBS), HOWEVER they have made the choice to down-convert the stations from HD to SD!

Dish network has no future plans to provide us in HD for any of our stations in the foreseeable future.

If your DishNetwork service/support person says that we are not allowing you to watch HD, or that we are not providing them with an HD signal, this is NOT the truth.

If you want to complain to us about how you were treated by a Dish representative, or report to us that they said we are preventing you from watching HD, we need to know the date you called, time you called, and the representative's name. If you can't give us this information your complaint is moot as we have no way to trace it.

If you want to receive Your Hometown Stations in HD, connect an antenna to your Dish Receiver, and program it for an Off Air or O.T.A. signal. We will appear in the proper spot on your TV in HD.

Do not use an indoor antenna such as rabbit ears, halo antennas, or flat panels. These antennas do not work with digital and you may have inferior results. The science and physics of antennas have not changed since the 40s. You still need what is called a traditional antenna.

Also, there is no such thing as "digital antenna". Antennas should be Combo VHF/UHF or you need two separate antennas.

You need an outdoor antenna to pick up signals.

An antenna like this 3# HD1080 antenna is all you need to get Your Hometown Stations. This antenna can be mounted on the outside of a window facing our transmitter, attached to a soil stack or chimney, or attached to the Top of their dish. The antenna typically costs around $40.00. It's easy to install, and if you were promised "local signals" then your Dish representative should install it for you at their cost.

WLIO/WOHL does not grant Waivers in Allen, Auglaize, or Putnam counties. You should have plenty of signal to watch our stations provided that you get the right equipment, and set it up correctly.
